                   AN ORDINANCE TO AMEND ORDINANCE NO. 6958, AS
                   AMENDED, KNOWN AS THE ZONING ORDINANCE, SO AS
                   TO REZONE A TRACT OF LAND LOCATED IN THE 4900
                   BLOCK OF MOUNTAIN CREEK ROAD, BEING OFF THE
                   NORTHWEST LINE OF MOUNTAIN CREEK ROAD,
                   NORTHEAST OF STONEBROOK DRIVE FROM R-1
                   RESIDENTIAL ZONE (TEMPORARY) TO R-1 RESIDENTIAL
                   ZONE.

              	   SECTION 1.  BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
         CITY OF CHATTANOOGA, TENNESSEE, That Ordinance No. 6958, as
         amended, known as the Zoning Ordinance, be and the same is 
hereby
         amended so as to rezone:
               
                A tract of land located at in the 4900 block of
                Mountain Creek Road, being off the northwest line
                of Mountain Creek Road, northeast of Stonebrook
                Drive.	Part of an unplatted tract, being part of
                the property described in deed book 4062, page 142,
                ROHC.  Said part of tract begins at an iron pin in
                the northwest corner of said property, said point
                being a common corner with the property of Richard
                Compton as described in deed recorded in book 3961,
                page 247, ROHC, and the property of Corena Combs
                Cross, as described in deed recorded in book 2782,
                page 522, ROHC, thence south 01 degree 00 minutes
                west 518.14 feet to an iron pin, a common corner of
                the said Richard Compton property, thence northeast
                some 490 feet to a point in the southwest line of
                the said Cross property, thence north 60 degrees 59
                minutes 04 seconds west 271.41 feet, more or less,
                with the southwest line of said Cross property to
                the point of beginning.  Tax Map No. 98-61.2.

              	   SECTION 2.  BE IT FURTHER ORDAINED, That this 
Ordinance
         shall take effect two weeks from and after its passage as 
provided
         by law.
